The 1985 Juveniles won three championships. They played in the Bluewater League with 3 Michigan teams and 3 from Lambton and Kent. In the Championship Tournament they defeated Port Huron Grain and Feed in the first round, Port Huron Phes in the semi-finals, and Marysville, Michigan 10-0 in the championship game. The juveniles then played Sarnia for the Western Counties championship and beat them two straight games in the best of three series. In the OBA Juvenile “B” Championship in Guelph, Chatham went undefeated, beating London 7-3, Hamilton 5-4, and Tecumseh 10-4. They then beat Hamilton again in the final game, winning 4-3 on a homerun by Gary Roberts in the 10th inning. Chatham wound up with a 39-11 overall record. The team also went on to win the 1986 OBA Juvenile “B” Championship with basically the same group of players
