Statue dedication - Chatham - June 10th 2023
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent honoured Fergie Jenkins with a replica of the bronze statue that sits on Gallagher Way just outside of Wrigley Field. With thousands of adoring fans from all over, we are proud to see this statue sit prominently in front of the downtown Chatham Municipal Building. Fergie spoke about how proud he is to be born and raised in Chatham and went on to thank all involved with the event. The statue is to be equipped with lights so it can be admired day and night. Check out the gallery of photos from the weekend activities.
