Brian spent his early life in Bothwell where he began his hockey career. As a novice player he scored 413 goals and people would come from miles around to see him play. Brian’s family moved to Chatham in 1981 where Brian’s hockey exploits continued in travel atom, pee wee, and bantam. He went on to play for the Jr. “C” Dresden Kings, the Jr. “B” Chatham Mic Macs, and the University of Michigan Wolverines before turning to professional hockey.
Brian excelled at all levels leading to individual and team honours until concussions cut short his career at age 29.
